**About the Role**Stripe is hiring Software Engineer Interns to build and improve production software that powers businesses worldwide. Interns work on real-world engineering projects across payments, infrastructure and AI while collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.**Role Type:** Internship **Work Mode:** Hybrid or office-based depending on location and team **Responsibilities**- Develop and maintain production-ready software.- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.- Test solutions and improve software quality.- Learn new systems and use AI tools to support development.**Requirements**- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.- Strong computer science fundamentals and programming knowledge.- Experience through projects, coursework, internships or open-source contributions.- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and solve problems independently.- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.- Good written communication and teamwork skills.**Preferred Qualifications**- Knowledge of frontend, backend or infrastructure technologies.- Experience writing tested and maintainable code.- Familiarity with large codebases and multiple programming languages.
