**About the Role**IBM is inviting applications for its 2027 internship program across IBM Research India and IBM Software Innovation Lab. Interns will work on research and development projects in AI, data science, quantum computing and next-generation software technologies.**Location:** Gurgaon, Haryana / Bengaluru, Karnataka **Internship Period:** May–August 2027 **Duration:** Up to 3 Months **Eligible Degrees:** B.E. / B.Tech, M.E. / M.Tech, Dual Degree and Ph.D.**Responsibilities**- Develop AI and machine learning models for real-world problems.- Work on LLMs, AI agents and generative AI applications.- Analyze and process large datasets.- Research and implement AI or quantum computing algorithms.- Conduct experiments and evaluate model performance.- Collaborate with researchers and engineers on innovation projects.**Requirements**- Minimum 70% or 7.0 CGPA in the pursuing degree.- Strong programming fundamentals in Python.- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and problem-solving.- Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks.- Experience with Git, VS Code or Jupyter Notebooks.- For quantum computing roles, knowledge of Qiskit and quantum algorithms is valuable.- Ability to understand research papers and implement technical ideas.
