**About the Role**Kantiv is hiring a Data Scientist to develop AI-powered applications and intelligent data solutions. The role focuses on LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents and document processing while collaborating with engineering and product teams.**Location:** Remote – India **Experience:** 1–3 Years **Employment Type:** Full-time **Department:** Engineering**Responsibilities**- Build AI applications using LLMs and foundation models.- Develop RAG pipelines, embeddings and semantic search systems.- Create AI agents and automated workflows.- Process structured and unstructured data.- Evaluate AI outputs and improve accuracy and reliability.- Integrate AI capabilities into APIs and existing products.- Optimize model performance, latency and inference costs.**Requirements**- Proficiency in Python and clean code development.- Understanding of LLMs, prompting and structured outputs.- Familiarity with RAG, embeddings and vector search.- Experience with REST APIs, JSON and SQL.- Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.- Hands-on AI projects or experience in software engineering, machine learning or AI engineering.**Preferred Skills**- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or LlamaIndex.- Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate or pgvector.- Familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment and AI evaluation tools.- Experience building production-ready AI applications or agentic systems.
