## About the RoleArm is hiring an Associate Engineer for its Design Enablement team within the Physical IP Division in Bengaluru. The role involves developing software applications and automated workflows that support custom cell and macro design, validation and delivery.**Location:** Bengaluru, Karnataka, India **Job Type:** Full-time **Job Category:** Software Engineering **Work Mode:** Hybrid working arrangements depend on the team.## Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software applications and automated workflows.- Write code using Java or Python and scripting tools.- Integrate EDA tools into custom cell development workflows.- Write tests and debug software issues.- Collaborate with circuit designers and software engineers.- Participate in code reviews and document software changes.## Requirements- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.- Programming knowledge in Java or Python.- Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Familiarity with version control and automated testing.- Good communication and teamwork skills.## Preferred Skills- Knowledge of Tcl, Bash or Unix shell scripting.- Familiarity with Linux or Unix environments.- Basic understanding of digital electronics or semiconductor design.- Exposure to EDA tools or job-scheduling environments.
