## About the RoleCapco is hiring a Java Developer for its Securities Finance Technology team in Pune. The role focuses on building a next-generation automated locates platform using Java, Spring frameworks, microservices and cloud-native technologies to support securities lending operations.**Location:** Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune **Shift:** EMEA## Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable Java-based applications.- Build distributed systems using microservices architecture.- Integrate messaging systems and caching solutions.- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database models.- Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS.- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.## Requirements- Hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring frameworks.- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and microservices.- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.- Experience with Redis, Kafka, MQ, SQS or SNS.- Familiarity with AWS services.- Experience using GitHub Copilot or Claude for development.## Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Good communication and collaboration skills.- Ownership, accountability and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
