## About the RoleIntuit is hiring a Software Engineer 1 to develop reliable, scalable and high-performance full-stack applications and backend services. The role involves working with Java, Kotlin or Python, along with ReactJS, to build APIs and business-critical applications while collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.**Location:** Bangalore, India**Experience:** 0–2 Years**Employment Type:** Full-time## Responsibilities- Develop and maintain backend applications, full-stack features and REST APIs.- Write clean, reusable and maintainable code.- Build scalable services using modern frameworks and technologies.- Develop unit and integration tests.- Work with relational databases and optimize SQL queries.- Debug issues and improve application performance.- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.- Apply TDD, microservices and distributed systems concepts.- Use agentic development tools to improve engineering productivity.- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams.## Requirements- 0–2 years of professional software development experience.- Strong programming knowledge of Java, Kotlin or Python, along with ReactJS.- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Django or FastAPI.- Understanding of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming.- Experience with REST APIs and relational databases.- Knowledge of SQL, database transactions and ACID properties.- Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, Git and CI/CD.- Basic understanding of microservices and distributed systems.- Knowledge of agentic software development tools.- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.- Willingness to learn and collaborate in an Agile environment.
