### About the RoleEaton is hiring an Associate Engineer for its Product Stewardship and Sustainability team within Aerospace. The role involves supporting product compliance assessments and ensuring products meet environmental and regulatory standards.**Location:** Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra **Experience:** 0–1 year **Work Mode:** Hybrid **Department:** Research & Development Engineering **Hiring Program:** Aerospace### Responsibilities- Support product stewardship activities for the Aerospace business.- Study customer needs and implement applicable product standards.- Coordinate with global engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams.- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.- Research upcoming regulatory rules and communicate findings to the team.- Improve processes using digital and automation tools.### Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.- Basic understanding of engineering, science, materials, measurements, and units.- Knowledge of product stewardship and environmental regulations.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Willingness to collaborate with local and global suppliers.### Preferred Skills- Familiarity with REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS, AD-DSL, and Prop 65.- Understanding of automation and continuous improvement methods.- Knowledge of dashboards and digital tools.- Interest in sustainability and product compliance.
