About the Role
Matrice AI is looking for passionate and driven Software Engineering Interns who are excited to work on backend development, scalable systems, and AI-powered applications. This internship offers hands-on experience in building real-world products and a potential Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving complex technical problems and want to grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop backend systems and APIs
Work on scalable architecture and performance optimization
Collaborate with product and AI teams to integrate intelligent features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Debug, test, and improve existing systems
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
Knowledge of Backend Development concepts
Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Node.js
Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
Basic knowledge of REST APIs and system design
Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Familiarity with Docker or containerization
Understanding of AI/ML concepts
Experience working on personal or academic tech projects
Eligibility Criteria
Students from 2025, 2026, or 2027 batches
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Available for a full-time remote internship
